Above: Henning Food Shelf volunteer Jerry Clovning delivered checks from neighboring Deer Creek to director Karen Stueve this week. Deer Creek American Legion Post 283 made a contribution of $500, while a $2,000 gift came from the Deer Creek Lions’ pull tabs. Top right and top left: The Deer Creek American Legion made a pair of donations, including a donation to the Wadena Food Bank from proceeds raised from the turkey bingo (top right) and a donation of fruit to the Fergus Falls VA (top right). 

My Kind of Bank in Henning presented the food shelf a check for $408 during the bank’s Christmas open house on December 19.
