Rich, Lopez-Moen take second place at Grant County Invite

A pair of Otter Tail Central wrestlers took second place at the Grant County wrestling tournament at West Central Area on Saturday.
Kayetana Lopez-Moen took second place at 136 lbs. after the junior secured a pair of pins in the quarterfinals and semi-finals to take on undefeated Norah Nesges of Willmar. Unfortunately, Lopez-Moen came out on the short end of a pin in the third period to finish in second place.
At 142 lbs., Ella Rich secured a pin in the quarterfinals at 142 lbs., before winning an 8-4 decision over previously unbeaten Hallen Bolduc of Benson in the semi-finals to advance to the championship match. Rich would fall to Laylona Yanez of Morris Area at 1:35 to finish in second place.
Also placing for the Bulldogs was Jolene Fosse who took sixth place at 130 lbs. and Ava Rousu who took third place at 155 lbs.
