It’s not very often that a school district seeks a referendum that will not increase taxes from what residents are currently paying—but that is just what the Henning School District is seeking on Nov. 3. The school district is seeking a continuation of an operating levy that has already been overwhelmingly approved by taxpayers twice for another 10 years. The levy was reauthorized nearly 10 years ago by nearly 75 percent of the voters for 10 years.
