A pair of new teachers will be joining the staff at Henning School this fall.
Lexi Froemming will join Henning School as a middle school English teacher. This is her first year in teacher after graduating from Minnesota State University in Moorhead.
“I am so excited to meet all of my students and grow with them through the year,” she said. “I’m also happy to be coaching junior high volleyball and to try a lot of new things.”
Not only will Froemming be starting her first year of teaching at Henning School, but she will also be getting married to her fiance Micah Arens this fall.
During her time in high school, Froemming said her favorite memories revolved around having study hall and playing Wii with her friends in the senior lounge.
“I loved getting to be in our own place having fun,” she said.
Chelsey Kloeckl will be joining Henning School this fall as the new intervention teacher for grades K-6.
A graduate of the College of Saint Benedict, Kloeckl completed her student teaching in a fifth grade classroom in Royalton and taught first grade in Pierz, as well as spent the past year teaching preschool at a catholic school in Pierz.
Kloeckl said she is looking forward to the opportunity to meet new people and the students at Henning School this fall.
“I’m looking forward to meeting lots of new people,” she said. “I’m also very excited to meet the students and make really great connections with them.”
The new interventionist currently lives in Parkers Prairie with her boyfriend and grew up in Little Falls, Minn.
Her favorite memory from her time in school was all of the teachers who have left a lasting impact on her life.
“My favorite memory from my time in school was all of my amazing teachers. They all made such an impact on me and inspired me to become a teacher. I hope to make the same impact on all of my students,” she said.
