Game to be held at Don Seipkes Field in Henning

Steven Mills is one of 13 seniors who are members of the Otter Tail Central football team. The Bulldogs have 56 athletes in football in grades 9-12 as the team will be making a return to 11-man football this fall.

The Otter Tail Central football started the 2025 football season with great numbers returning from last season and new athletes joining the team.  

The Bulldogs graduated some great players, Teigan Bjerke, Max Mekalson, AJ Jones, and Eliajah Fronning, but will look to move back to 11-man and compete in a new section. The Bulldogs will have 13 seniors, 17 juniors, 10 sophomores and 16 freshmen competing in practice for playing time.  

OTC will lean heavily on returning starters Braxtyn Cameron, William Schwartz, Tayden Soma, Andrew Suchy, Billy Durbin, Anthony Rousu, Jack Thormondson, Steven Mills, Tristan Loghry, Josh Larson, Erik Stans, Justin Redfield and Reece Christensen.  

Competition from athletes Bradon Grabe, Ryan Despard, Junior Faaliga, Garrison Fleischauer, Dawson Bushman, Shane Severson, Memphis Nelson, Matt Brandborg, Gabe Froslee, MaCade Barbre, Carsten Brandon, Logan Poplin, Todd Bjerke, Colton Eckman, Connor Reinbold, Vance Bladow and Brenden Weller will be pushing returning starters for playing time.

The Bulldogs are coached by Eric Olson, Ryan Emter, Dana Damm, Caleb Horn, and Ross Ukkelberg.  OTC competed in a scrimmage in Frazee on Aug. 23 and opens the season in Henning on Aug. 28 vs Ashby-Brandon-Evansville at 7 p.m.
