The Henning girls basketball program hosted its first-ever Summer Bash basketball camp on Thursday evening at the school. The camp was open to all students entering second through 12th grade. The girls went through a number of individual drills, team building techniques and had pizza/treats following the conclusion of the camp.

The Henning girls basketball program hosted its first Summer Bash Basketball Camp on Thursday. The camp welcomed girls entering 2-12th grade and focused on creating a fun and encouraging environment for players of all skill levels.

Over 40 girls attended the camp which focused on fundamentals, team unity, and just enjoying basketball. Campers were greeted with a bag tag which will get them special gifts at the varsity games. After getting their basketball work in, the girls were treated to pizza and dessert to celebrate their efforts.

“This camp is about more than just basketball,” said Coach Emter. “It’s a way to bring our girls together, build confidence, and show them what it means to be part of the Hornet basketball family.”

With a strong turnout and plenty of energy in the gym, the Summer Bash Camp brought the present and future together to enjoy the great sport of basketball.
