State tournament set for Thursday through Sunday at Tony Kawlewski Field

Tony Kawlewski Field in Henning will once again be a hub for a state baseball tournament this weekend. 

The Otter Tail Central baseball program will host the Babe Ruth ages 13-14 Intact State Tournament beginning on Thursday afternoon. Henning will host pool play games on Thursday beginning at 12 p.m. through Friday at 7:30 p.m., while Urbank will host pool play games on Thursday from 12-7:30 p.m. 

The top two teams from each pool will advance to the single elimination tournament, which will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning. The semi-finals will be held on Saturday at 5 and 7 p.m. with the third place and championship games set for 11 a.m. and 2 open. on Sunday in Henning.

Thursday in Henning: 12 p.m. DGF Black vs. OTC Red, 2:30 p.m. Park Rapids Storm vs. Barnesville Purple, 5 p.m. Staples-Motley vs. Long Prairie, 7:30 p.m. Parkers Prairie vs. Park Rapids Storm

Thursday in Urbank: 12 p.m. Hawley Gold vs. Long Prairie, 2:30 p.m. BBE vs. Frazee, 5 p.m. Paynesville vs. DGF Black, 7:30 p.m. OTC Black vs. BBE

Friday in Henning: Hawley Gold vs. Staples-Motley, 2:30 p.m. Frazee vs. OTC Black, 5 p.m. Barnesville Purple vs. Parkers Prairie, 7:30 p.m. OTC Red vs. Paynesville.
