Join the Otter Tail County Historical Society for a Historic Henning Tour on Thursday, July 10, 7 p.m. Gather in front the Landmark Center, the cost is $10 with proceeds benefiting OTCHS.

As small towns struggle to maintain their identity, Henning has taken a path that could be a model for others. Community members have come together to save their historic resources. In recent years both the Trinity Lutheran Church and the Lewis House and Medical Clinic have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

As guests tool around town in the comfort of an Underwood Lions people mover, the tour will explore Hennings history and the stories that make it unique. From the Giant Norsemen to a rabble rousing newspaper editor to UFOs, this tour has it all.
