  The Deer Creek Shockers erupted for 19 runs on their way to a 19-1 win over Dent on Wednesday night.

Deer Creek was led offensively by Chase Nordlund who went 3-4 with six RBI’s, while Lane Dilly reached base four times and scored four runs in the win.

The Shockers were led on the mound by Travis George, Ashton Detloff and Simon Kreklau who combined to give up just one run over seven innings, while striking out 12 Dent batters.

Deer Creek will host Clarissa on Wednesday night in the final home game of the regular season, before traveling to Perham on Friday night. 

The Shockers are currently 9-3 overall and 7-2 in the Hi-10. They are in third place in the league behind just Bluffton at 14-2 overall and 13-1 in the Hi-10 and New York Mills who is also 9-3 overall and 8-2 in the Hi-10. 

Perham is in fourth place with a record of 6-4 overall and 4-4 in the Hi-10, Clarissa is 4-8 overall and 4-5 in the Hi-10, Vergas is 4-9 overall and 3-8 in the Hi-10, Henning is 3-9 overall and 1-8 in the Hi-10 and Dent is 0-13 overall and 0-10 in the Hi-10.
