On Friday evening, June 13, Author, Director, and Iowa Pie Baker, Beth Howard previewed her new Documentary Film “PIEOWA, A Piece of America” at the Cornerstone Church in Henning. Following the film, a spontaneous celebration broke out as Lurene Holm announced she had two freshly baked Rhubarb Custard pies cooling on her kitchen counter, offering them to the crowd. Within minutes, those two fresh pies along with ice cream were served to the entire audience showing us all the power of Pie and the gift of sharing with others. The World Needs More Pie.
