Henning High School junior William Schwartz has become the first member of the Henning trap team to advance to the state tournament. The state shoot is only open to the top 100 shooters statewide with Schwartz currently being ranked 73rd in the state with an average of 23.9. 

The state trap meet is set for June 20 in Prior Lake. 

Schwartz is the son of Adam and Erika Schwartz, of rural Vining.
