Two of the Henning Business Professionals of America (BPA) members did a great job of representing the Henning School and the Henning area at the National BPA Contests in Orlando, Fla., May 7-11.
Senior Tiffany Weber and Junior Monica Hansen joined approximately 7,000 members from 26 different states and 4 countries competing in a variety of events from the Workplace Skills Assessment Program.

Monica Hansen became the first Henning member in a few years to make it up on stage to bring home an award as she finished 10th in Advanced Word Processing Skills. Hansen finished in 23rd place in her other event of Advanced Office Systems and Procedures and Weber placed in 40th place in that same event.
The National Contests were a great opportunity for these two young ladies to compete, socialize with other members and also have some time to check out a few different areas which this year included Disney Springs, Universal Studios, Clearwater Beach to name a few.
BPA advisor Mike Hepola said Weber and Hansen were great representatives of the school and community. He was also proud of their accomplishments and the wonderful young ladies they are. He also wanted to thank everyone who supported these ladies and theBPA chapter this year. A special Thank You to the Henning HOPE Chapter, Charlene Witt, 1st National Bank, Ottertail Lions and the Henning School for their support to help with the costs of the travel and national contests.
Hepola congratulated Hansen and Weber on a job well done and the BPA group is looking forward to more success stories next year from the Henning BPA Chapter.
