The news came just weeks after Henning officially entered into contract negotiations with the person it had hoped would replace current superintendent Mike Rowe when he leaves the school district at the end of June.

Wahlin was part of the Henning Choir trip to California last weekend, and during part of their leisure time, he and several other members of the Choir attended a taping of the popular game show. Wahlin said the whole experience started out pretty simple. After waiting in line for a couple of hours, each audience member said something to a producer watching the potential contestants. Wahlin stated that he basically said his name and hometown along with “The Price Is Right rocks!”
