The Otter Tail Bulldog golf team had their first meet of the year at Balmoral on Thursday, April 24. This was a Quad County Conference meet hosted by Underwood. The boys team came in second place behind West Central Area and OTC’s Logan Kostelecky was the medalist with a solid 73 and won it on a scorecard playoff.  

OTC’s Janie Lhotak finished in third place in the girl’s meet shooting a 91.

Head coach Mike Hepola said obviously a person will never know what to expect going into that first meet of the year, but overall some pretty solid results. 

Kostelecky was the medalist with a 73 and Lhotak was the only other award winner with her third place finish shooting her 91. Other OTC results were 10th place tie of Teigan Bjerke and Hudson Baril both shooting 86, 17th place finish for Cooper Dorn shooting a 90.  Brayden Martinson 91, Cameron Markuson 93, Trevor Arndt 100, Bradon Grabe 103 and Jack Reinbold 126 rounded out the scoring.  

The boys will now travel to Alexandria Golf Club on Monday and then both Boys and Girls will compete at Legacy Courses of Craguns on Tuesday.
