An error was noted in the April 8 issue of the Citizen’s Advocate in a story entitled “New recycling program comes to Henning area in 2026.” The story stated that the free recycling program would be for all residents in the southeast quadrant of Otter Tail County. However, the grant Otter Tail County received will only provide free recycling for property owners in Henning and Battle Lake. Other property owners will receive a free recycling canister, but would need to pay a hauler to remove the recyclable materials.
