Celebrity Makeup Artist Mallory will guide you and help customize an effortless everyday makeup and skincare look that feels like you. This class if perfect for all ages and all levels of makeup or no makeup girlies. Feel free to bring in your own makeup and skincare products and Mallory will give you guidance on how to use what you have or she will recommend anything you may be missing. Mallory has over 14 years of professional experience in the industry and will be sharing the tips and tricks she’s learned over the years that will give you the best most natural no makeup makeup look. The beauty industry is more than just a makeup application to the instructor, it’s also giving each girl/woman a confidence boost, affirmation, and support.
Class is scheduled for Monday, May 5 at 7 p.m. in the Henning School Staff Meeting Room. The class fee is $30. Pre-register and pay at the Henning School District Office by April 28.

back weed class
Master Gardener Jean Siirila will be discussing about two dozen common weeds that are chosen from backyards and fields in our area. Some things that will be covered in class include what weeds do, their uses, their dangers, what they look like and some medical uses. Weather permitting, participants will go outside to locate and identify some of the weeds. Class is scheduled for Tuesday, May 20 at 6 p.m. in the Henning Public School Staff Meeting Room.
The class fee is $5. Registration deadline is May 13.
Dog obedience class
Instructors Lily Olson and Jorja Gabrielson of Prairie Peak Kennels will be instructing this four-week general obedience class. This course is perfect for dogs of all breeds over the age of six months, whether you’re building a foundation or improving existing training. Over the course of four weeks you’ll learn: focus and basic commands (sit, stay, down); leash walking and recall; problem solving common behaviors (jumping, barking, etc.); real-life practice and advanced techniques. Class is scheduled for Tuesdays, May 6, 13, 20 and 27 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Henning Community Center (or outdoors weather permitting). The class fee is $100. Registration deadline is April 29.
Rabies and distemper shots are required. Please bring shot record to the first class.
