Residents are invited to a community open house hosted by the Otter Tail County Commissioners on March 31 from 7-9 p.m. at the Henning Community Center at 607 Second Street. This informal event offers an opportunity to connect with county commissioners, ask questions, and learn about projects impacting the Henning area.

“We value the voices of our residents, and this event is a great way to hear your thoughts, answer questions, and share updates on important projects,” said Commissioner Robert Lahman, District 4. “We hope to see many community members join us.”

The open house will feature county staff and representatives discussing a variety of local topics, including: County Assessor: A brief presentation on property valuations and information on upcoming Board of Appeal and Equalization meetings.

County Engineer: An overview of upcoming transportation projects.

Community Development: A discussion on housing, child care, and workforce development opportunities.

Sheriff’s Office: Answer public safety questions and engage with the community.

This event is open to all residents, and light refreshments will be served. Whether you have specific questions or want to learn more about what is happening in Otter Tail County, your participation is welcome and encouraged.
