The Henning fifth and sixth grade girls basketball teams wrapped up their seasons on Saturday at the annual Bertha-Hewitt basketball tournament. The fifth graders finished as the consolation champions after losing a tough 13-12 game in the opening round to Sebeka. The team finished their season with an impressive record of 14-3 overall. The sixth grade team featured 6 sixth graders and some fifth graders who helped out throughout the season. The sixth grade team took fifth place after defeating Sebeka in the fifth place game on Saturday. The teams were coached by Chad Koenen, Jason Torgerson and Denise Menze.
