Soma places seventh at Prowler Invite

Tayden Soma placed seventh and was the lone Bulldog to place in the top eight at the 20-team Army National Guard Prowler Invite over the weekend at Thief River Falls.
Just three wrestlers competed in the tournament with Soma dropping a pair of matches in the opening two rounds of the tournament before picking up a pin over Domanick Thompson of Fosston-Bagley by a pin at 5:21 to secure seventh place.
As a team the Bulldogs finished in 20th place with five total points. Also competing for the Bulldogs was Xavier Lewis at 172 lbs. and Peter Newark who went 1-2 in the tournament at 127 lbs.
