Vining Lutheran Church has announced that Pastor Randy Freund has accepted the call to flll its pastoral  needs. His installation was held at  Vining  on Dec. 8, 2024. Freund  is a graduate of Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn.,  Luther Seminary, St. Paul, Minn., and  he has a  Masters  in  Divinity Degree. He previously served  congregations  in  Madison, Minn., Marshall, Minn., Hutchinson, Minn. and New Creation, Perham.    Most recently he has been involved in a leadership role in the  Association  of  Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC). The   Vining congregation is  a member of  LCMC. Freund and his wife, Stephanie, reside on Stuart Lake, rural Vining. They are  eagerly looking forward to becoming better acquainted with the  Vining community as they strive to serve  Christ through  their ministry.
