The Otter Tail Central Bulldogs hosted Roseau and Wadena-Deer Creek in a triangular on Thursday night. The Bulldogs dropped both matches, a 41-29 loss to Roseau and a 52-16 loss to fellow Section 6A foe Wadena-Deer Creek in Henning.

In their match against the Wolverines, OTC picked up a major decision by Peter Newark at 127 lbs. by a score of 13-4, while Levi Evavold and Xavier Lewis secured back-to-back first period pins at 160 lbs. and 172 lbs.

This week the Bulldogs will travel to Minnewaska Area for a triangular on Tuesday night, before traveling to Thief River Falls on Friday and Saturday for a tournament.

Xavier Lewis took second place and four Bulldogs placed third at the Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale/Parkers Prairie tournament on Saturday.

Lewis dropped his opening round match in a four person round robin tournament before rebounding with a decision and tech fall to place second at 172 lbs.

Peter Newark took third at 127 lbs., Mason Christianson took third at 139 lbs., Josh Larson took third at 285 lbs. and Keaston Thorpe took third place at 133 lbs.

The Bulldogs placed fourth as a team with 51.5 points, while BHVPP took first with 160.5 points.
