Do you want to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with all of the trimmings, but would prefer not to go through the hassle of making the entire meal? Perhaps you will be alone on Thanksgiving and still want to celebrate the holiday with family and friends? If so, St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Henning may have just the answer.

The annual St. Edward’s Catholic Church Thanksgiving Dinner will be held on Thursday, Nov. 28 at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until the food is gone.

The dinner will feature turkey and all of the trimmings. The meal is free and open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken to benefit local organizations and charities. The meal has been a popular place for people who are alone, or have a small family gathering on Thanksgiving and do not want to make a full Thanksgiving meal. Takeout meals are available and anyone with questions is asked to contact Darene Oseien at 583-1087.

In case of inclement weather the dinner will be held on Sunday, Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until the food is gone.
