The Country Corner Cafe in downtown Henning hosted its annual Veteran’s Appreciation Dinner on Tuesday afternoon. Every branch of the military was represented at the dinner, with the exception of the Coast Guard. A veteran and their guest were treated to an appreciation dinner and they all received a red, white and blue candy, along with a Veteran Christmas stocking filled with a t-shirt and other goodies. Among those who attended was World War II veteran Don Bjelland.
