With over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, Aaron Schwartz brings a wealth of experience at a time when finding a construction company to complete a new home or expansive remodeling project is becoming something of an art-form.

He doesn’t have a large billboard, flashy signs in town or an expansive marketing department, yet he relies on his work and past customers to share his story about providing quality work at a fair price for his Vining-based business Schwartz Built.

With a crew of five people, Schwartz Built has the ability to complete just about any job from conventional remodeling projects to new homes.

“We do it all from decks to sheds to new construction,” said Schwartz.

The Vining-based construction company was started by Schwartz approximately five years ago in the New York Mills area. He recently moved to rural Vining and continues to complete jobs throughout the region.

The company specializes in new construction, from the initial planning to the final touches on the home, as well as everything from decks to roofing, remodeling projects and much more. His company recently completed the new siding project at the Salvation Army store in downtown Henning and are also working on a new construction home on West Leaf Lake.

“I love what I do and we are good at it,” said Schwartz. “If you are good at it it’s a form of art.”

Schwartz said the company has found a niche of providing quality work at an affordable price.

In addition to running his own construction company, Schwartz helps to lead a recovery program based in Verndale. He turned his life to the Lord in 2019 and has lived a life of sobriety ever since.

The rural Vining resident draws from his own experiences in helping others who want to become sober and turn their life to the Lord.

“Helping guys in recovery is my goal,” he said. “My goal now is leading people to Christ.”
