Henning bounced back from their mediocre play of the previous week and took it out on Battle Lake’s football team with vengeance at the homecoming game here Wednesday and ended up winning the game 61-13. After a Henning fumble on their own 32, Battle Lake ran the ball to the five yard stripe where they were held on downs. On straight running plays the local boys went 75 yards for a touch down with Thompson carrying. Holmgren ran for the extra point. Henning next big score came after gains by Brutal and Thompson with Steve going the last 22 yards. Ferber’s pass to Brockopp was good. Fosse recovered a Battlers fumble and a few plays later he went over again. Henning kicked off to the losers and on the second down every lock man missed his tackle and the Battlers went 28 yard for a touchdown. At half time the score was 32 to 7. At the end of the third quarter the score was  38 to 13 with the final score being 61-13.
