Two residents of Otter Tail County were convicted of felony drug charges at the County Courthouse in Fergus Falls. They will not need to serve sentences at correctional facilities if they remain law abiding for five years, and follow directives of their respective probation agents.

• Brad Eric Sibert, 48, of Richville, was sentenced in county court on Aug. 12 following a felony conviction of fifth-degree drug possession. During his five-year probationary period he will be required to cooperate with the search of his person, residence, vehicle, workplace and property. The judge ordered Sibert to have a complete comprehensive personal assessment and follow recommendations of evaluation. Local confinement was 52 days in the county jail. He will not be sent to the correctional facility in St. Cloud if he remains law abiding during his five-year probationary period.

• Dilfa Munguia, 34, of Pelican Rapids, was sentenced Aug. 12 in county court following a felony conviction of first-degree drug possession. She will not be sent to the correctional facility in Shakopee, southwest of Minneapolis, if she remains law abiding during her five-year probationary period. Munguia will have a personal assessment and cannot have usage of alcohol or drugs, with the exception of prescribed medications. She is required to follow directives of her probation agent for the five-year period.
