The Otter Tail Central cross country team made the trek to Madden’s on Gull Lake in Brainerd last week for a seven team meet in rural Brainerd.
On the boys side, Talyn Setterholm led the charge with a fourth place finish with a time of 20.23, while Aidan Heggem finished in fifth place with a time of 20:44.
Drew Robinson posted a season best time as he finished in ninth place with a time of 22.12, Phoenix Allison finished in 12th place with a time of 22:44, Nelson Huebert finished in 17th place with a time of 23:46, Quinn Condiff finished in 18th place with a time of 23:57, Jack Robinson finished in 20th place with a time of 24:08, Benji Sanmoogan finished in 25th place with a time of 25:04, Mason Hoyt finished in 30th place with a time of 26:55, Cayden Mansker finished in 31st place with a time of 28:57, Oren Brackin finished in 32nd place with a time of 29:00, Ethan Sanju finished in 33rd place with a time of 29:00, Fred Scott finished in 34th place with a time of 29:23 and Nathan Sanmoogan finished in 38th place with a time of 36:12.
On the girls side, Tegan Brandon led the charge with a fourth place finish with a time of 24:26. She was followed by Brielle Malone who posted a season best time of 25:42 to finish in eighth place overall.
Other Bulldog runners included Delia Tebrugge who finished in 11th place with a time of 26:18, Emily Christensen who finished in 13th place with a time of 28:24, Mae Hegemeister who finished in 18th place with a time of 29:13 and Jasmine Sanmoogan who finished in 24th place with a time of 34:57.
As a team the Bulldogs finished in third place with 38 points and trailed just Bertha-Hewitt, who took first, second, third, sixth and seventh place overall. The Bulldogs finished in fourth, fifth, eighth, 10th and 11th place at the meet.
The girls team took third place as a team and trailed just Bertha-Hewitt and Pillager in the meet.
