The Astera Health Foundation in collaboration with Wadena State Bank, announced the Harry Harrison Matching Grant. The $25,000 matching grant will be used to support the operations of the Astera Health/CentraCare Coborn Cancer Center, opening in July of 2025.

Harry Harrison owned and operated Mason Brothers until September 1999. He was known for his philanthropic and entrepreneurial efforts. The grant was devised to honor his memory by a longtime friend, Jeff Browne.

“Harry has been a huge supporter of Wadena. With so many of us impacted by cancer and being a member of the Astera Health Foundation board, I wanted to do something to give back in his honor.  Harry will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know him,” said Jeff Browne.

Tax deductible donations for the matching grant will be accepted from August 5 to December 31, 2024. Donations can be submitted through the Astera Health Foundation webpage or directly at Wadena State Bank in Wadena.
