Annual Henning BBQ set for Friday

Turkey, pork and all the fixings will be served at the Henning Event Center on Friday night as part of the annual World Famous BBQ. The event will be held in conjunction with Crazy Days in Henning.

Henning area businesses will be getting a little crazy on Friday during the annual Crazy Day celebration in downtown Henning.
A number of local businesses will be offering specials and games throughout the day. Some of the businesses participating in the crazy day activities include: B&D Foods, Seip Drug Store, First National Bank and there will also be a tupperware sale hosted by Karen Stueve at the Vanity Beauty Salon.
Following Crazy Day, the Henning Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual World Famous BBQ featuring turkey, pork, beans, chips, pasta salad and coleslaw. The meal will be served with a beverage and ice cream will be available for desert.
The World Famous BBQ will be held at the Henning Event Center from 4:30-7 p.m. and takeouts will also be available. The cost for the meal will be $15 for adults, $5 for kids ages 5-12 and four and under will be free. The event will be held at the Henning Event Center.
