From classic car restorations to a collision with a deer, Logan Quick is hoping his new auto body shop in Vining will provide area residents with a place to turn their vehicle from seeing its better days to once again being the envy of the ball.

Quick opened Quick’s Collision and Classics in June. The shop is located adjacent to his brother Dillon Quick’s new auto repair shop Quick’s Auto Repair. The two brothers always wanted to open their own shop and have already seen the benefit of having an auto repair and collision repair business located next door to one another. Logan said there have been a number of times that both his brother and he worked on the same vehicle, which makes getting a repair done even more convenient for customers.

“We’ve had quite a few jobs where people came in on my side, or his side, and we both did a little bit of work on the vehicle,” said Logan. 

Prior to opening his own shop, Logan has worked at a number of body shops in the area and most recently owned his own shop in Parkers Prairie. Wanting to get away from renting shop space from someone else, Logan decided to open his own shop in the same space as his brother in Vining.

“We’ve always like this area. Our family roots are around here and we thought it would be a good location for a shop around here,” said Logan, who began working in a shop at the age of 16.

Logan said he will complete everything from insurance work to deer hits, fender benders, rust removal and restoration of classic vehicles. In his shop last week a classic vehicle was getting work done, while just a few feet away an SUV was getting its paint job touched up. 

One of the favorite parts of his job is working on classic vehicles and restoring them to their original look and feel.

“You get to save something, a piece of history, basically,” said Logan.
