Muscle cars, trucks and some of the most iconic vehicles in recent memory will once again line the streets of downtown Henning this summer.

Following the success of the past two year’s Rock Roll and Stroll in Henning, the third annual Tri-County Cruisers Rock Roll and Stroll event will be held the third Friday of June, July and September. It will also be held on Saturday, Aug. 10 during Leo’s Bash at the Henning Event Center.

The first of four community events, aimed at attracting custom and classic cars, motorcycles and other vehicles, will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m.

Last year several dozen vehicles lined the streets of downtown Henning during the annual Rock Roll and Stroll event in town. The event is modeled after a similar event that is held each month in Pierz.

Don Jorgenson attended one of the events a few years ago in Pierz, which had approximately 500 vehicles. All of the merchants in downtown Pierz stayed open during the event and proved to be a popular way to bring people to the downtown business district.

There is no charge to register a vehicle for Rock Roll and Stroll and registration will take place at Henning Hardware in downtown Henning.

Several local businesses will feature specials and music will help to set the tone of the night. The event is open to people of all ages.

In addition to Friday, the Rock and Stroll events will also take place on July 19, Aug. 10 (Saturday during Leo’s Bash) and Sept. 20 from 4-8 p.m.
