Vehicle thefts reported near Fergus Falls

Sheriff deputies, on April 21, reported thefts from a car southeast of Fergus Falls, near several businesses. A smashed window resulted in entrance to the vehicle.
Taken were a wallet with credits cards and a debit card, a purse and gift card. An investigation was continuing as of Monday, April 22.
Accident with injuries reported
Two people received minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 5:26 p.m. on April 21 near the intersection of Highways 1 and 14 east of Amor and near the north side of Otter Tail Lake.
One vehicle entered the ditch, according to sheriff deputies. Both vehicles were towed from the scene of the accident.
Fire destroys shed
A fire destroyed a shed and caused minor damage to a house near the west side of Otter Tail Lake. The fire was reported to authorities at 7:26 p.m. on April 21.
A propane tank also was destroyed during the fire.
