A Roseau Elementary student was selected as the winner of the 2024 Minnesota D.A.R.E. poster contest. Anastyn is participating in the D.A.R.E. program, at Roseau Elementary School, under the direction of the Roseau Police Department. Roseau Police Department D.A.R.E. Officer Zach Manka entered her poster in the statewide program hosted by Minnesota D.A.R.E., Inc. Anastyn’s poster was selected out of hundreds of posters entered from law enforcement agencies, statewide.

The theme for this year’s contest was “Stronger Together.” In D.A.R.E. we discuss the importance of friendship, positive relationships, good communication, standing up for others, and stopping bullying.
