The Otter Tail Central boys track team collected eight top finishes, while the girls team collected six first place finishes of their own at the Anderson/Cole Invite in Perham on Friday night.

Mason Dalluge picked up a pair of first place finishes in both the long jump and the triple jump with jumps of 18’11 3/4” in the long jump and 40’ 3/4” in the triple jump to edge a pair of teammates for the top spot. William Schwartz took second place in the long jump with a jump of 18’, while Aidan Heggum took second place in the triple jump with a jump of 37’ 11” and Schwartz took third place with a jump of 34’10 1/4”. 

Jonas Hegemesiter also took first place in a pair of events, including the 200-meter dash with a time of 25.46 and the 800-meter run with a time of 2:12.14. Peter Newark took the top spot in the 400-meter dash with a time of 56.86, while Heggem took second place with a time of 57.78. Newark also took second place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:17.34. 

The 4×400-meter relay team grabbed the top spot, while Braxtyn Cameron and Brock Resch tied for first place in the high jump with a jump of 5’6”. 

Kale Rich also picked up a first place finish when he grabbed the top spot in the shot put with a throw of 39’2 1/2”. He also took second place in the discus with a throw of 110’ 8”.

On the girls side, Norah Froslee took first place in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:34.43, while Bella Olson collected a first place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 19.19 and a second place finish in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 56.09. 

Myiesha Antoni took first place in the high jump with a jump of 4’8” and grabbed second place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 29.67. 

The Bulldogs dominated the field events as Kinley Bormann grabbed first place in the long jump with a jump of 15’9 1/2”, as well as first place in the triple jump with a jump of 32’ 5” and Kayetana Lopez-Moen took first place in the pole vault with a vault of 7’6”. 

In addition to their meet in Perham, the Bulldogs hosted a home meet in Battle Lake on Tuesday night. Results from that meet were not available at the time of press.
