Local residents sentenced in Otter Tail County Court

The following individuals, all charged with felonies, appeared before judges at the Otter Tail County Courthouse just south of downtown Fergus Falls. That is where sentencing took place.
• Jamie Lynn Wehmas, 37, New York Mills, received a stay of adjudication related to a felony charge of 5th degree drug possession. Under a stay of adjudication, after a guilty plea and while the probation is going on, this is a pending case, the same as being charged and awaiting trial. Once probation is over the case will be dismissed. The judge issued this decision on Feb. 12, 2024. Adult supervision is for five years, with 231 days of jail credit.
• Richard Joseph Grant Mohr, 34, Pelican Rapids, received a stay of adjudication related to a felony charge of 5th degree drug possession. Once probation of five years is over the case will be dismissed. The judge, following a guilty plea, issued the decision on Feb. 26, 2024. Mohr must cooperate with directives of his probation officer.
• Anna Marie Gnahn, 39, Pelican Rapids, received a stay of imposition following a felony conviction related to criminal damage of property, a felony. The judge issued the decision on Feb. 26, 2024. Under a stay of imposition, Gnahn will have her felony conviction reduced to a misdemeanor if she stays law abiding during a five-year probationary period. She received 36 days credit time for local confinement. There is a no alcohol/drugs stipulation with the exception of prescribed medications.
• Francisco Castro Lorenzo, 45, Perham, received a stay of imposition following a conviction related to a felony charge of identity theft. His conviction will be reduced to a misdemeanor if he stays law abiding during a five-year probationary period. The judge issued this decision on Feb. 2, 2024. Lorenzo must follow directives of his probation director and follow all state and federal criminal laws.
