The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center’s 2024 Live Music Series continues with the return of local favorite, Corey Medina & Brothers, on Friday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Corey Medina & Brothers (CMB) is a Blues-Rock band from Bemidji, Minn., led by Diné Corey Medina, a Native American Blues Artist from Shiprock, N.M.
Medina moved to Northern Minnesota in 2012, and spent a couple of years getting to know the community and music scene before debuting his first album “Old Dog Crying” in 2015. Several albums later, Medina now plays with his band known as “The Brothers” consisting of Eric Sundeen on drums and Gary Broste on upright bass.
Corey Medina & Brothers set out to spread light to dark, and hope to the hopeless with their raw, soulful, intimate music and stage presence. The concert at the Cultural Center on April 12 will include old favorites and newer releases, all shared with their trademark energy and passion that always leaves concert goers feeling like they were part of something unique and special.
