Tuesday, Jan. 16 at Bertha-Hewitt 53-52 win
On Tuesday night Henning traveled to Bertha-Hewitt to take on a much improved Bears team. Henning fell behind 12-0 early on, but were able to bounce back and only trailed 28-27 at the half. The Hornets held a couple of small leads throughout the first half.
The second half was a back and forth battle, Henning was up by as much as 8 points. The Hornets had a 1 point lead with about 3 seconds left with Bertha-Hewitt having the ball out of bounds just over half court. Bertha-Hewitt’s last second attempt from half court was right on line, but bounced off the rim and Henning came away with the 53-52 victory.

Friday, Jan. 29 vs. Menahga 78-42 lost
On Friday night Henning hosted Menahga, who came in with a 12-1 record, and undefeated in the Park Region Conference. The second half the girls continued to battle before Henning lost by the final score of 78-42.
