Kale Rich placed sixth at the annual Jackhammer Invitational in Pequot Lakes over the weekend. Rich advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament with a pin over Trajan Mussehl of Big Lake in just 18 seconds at 285 lbs. Unfortunately, he fell to Riley Peters of Pequot Lakes/Pine River-Backus by a pin in the semi-finals, and then dropped his next two matches by a medical forfeit to finish in sixth place.
No other Bulldog placed in the tournament, which featured 29 teams from the northern most part of the state to the Twin Cities area.
