The Henning third and fourth graders recently spent a portion of their day making fleet hats with members of the 4-H.

Donna Geiser from the Otter Tail County 4-H Club led the event and taught the kids a lot about how important it is to recycle and keep the planet clean. The fleece came from recycled products from many different local area recycling centers.

The students had to figure out math problems to see how a little bit of recycled products from everyone goes a long way. The students were very grateful for the opportunity to make the hats and were able to see the impact that recycling makes.

Students and staff members at Henning School are grateful for Geiser helping the students create these hats.
