Jacob Arthur Larson, 29, of Parkers Prairie, received a stay of imposition in county court, Fergus Falls, on Aug. 28. Larson will have his felony conviction for assault with a dangerous weapon reduced to a misdemeanor if he stays law abiding during a probationary period.

Larson pled guilty on July 10, 2023. Total court fees total $975, with payment the responsibility of Larson.

The judge ordered Larson to cooperate with the search of his person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property and matters as directed by his probation officer. He must inform his probation officer within 72 hours if he changes his address, employment or telephone number.

Larson cannot use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives.
