Henning School fourth and fifth grade students participated in a bike safety unit with physical education teacher Jason Speer last week at the Henning School track. The Henning School District shares a bike fleet with the New York Mills School District, which can be utilized for physical education instruction. The students learned about everything from how to properly size a bike to the importance of wearing a helmet, learning hand signals and bike safety rules.
