Henning businesses to host Crazy Day sales

Henning area businesses will be getting a little crazy on Friday during the annual Crazy Day celebration in downtown Henning.
A number of local businesses will be offering specials and games throughout the day. Some of the businesses participating in the crazy day activities include: B&D Foods, Seip Drug Store, First National Bank and the Citizen’s Advocate.
Following Crazy Day, the Henning Area Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual World Famous BBQ featuring turkey, pork, potatoes, beans and buns. The meal will be served with a beverage and ice cream will be available for desert.
The United Methodist Church will also be hosting a bake sale at the World Famous BBQ and Henning CHAT will have ice cream available to purchase for desert. Takeout will also be available.
The World Famous BBQ will be held at the Henning Event Center from 4:30-7 p.m.
Friday’s busy day in Henning will come to a close with the third Tri-County Cruisers Car show in downtown Henning. Dozens of classic cars will park along the streets in downtown Henning for the local car club’s monthly car show. The car show will be held from 4-8 p.m. and registration is at the hardware store.
