Shockers edge Park Rapids in Region 14C

The Deer Creek Shockers split a pair of games in the Region 14C tournament last weekend. After falling to Midway by a score of 8-7 on Friday night, the Shockers cruised past Park Rapids by a score of 19-1 on Saturday in the elimination bracket. Sunday’s game against top seeded Perham in the elimination bracket was suspended with the game tied at 4-4 in the top of the seventh inning due to poor field conditions. The game will be picked up on Friday at 7 p.m. in Perham.
