Woman dead following incident on Big Pine Lake

0A woman is dead following an incident on Big Pine Lake, east of Perham on Monday.
According to area reports, at approximately 10:30 a.m., the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office received a call that a male had hurt a woman on Big Pine Lake. The woman was later pronounced dead and the man was taken into custody later in the day. The identity of the male and deceased female have not been released by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office. Details of the incident have also not been released as of the time of press.
Assisting the sheriff’s office were the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, Perham Police, Minnesota DNR and Perham Ambulance.
