Under the cover of umbrellas, the outgoing Henning Festival Royalty waved to the crowd in their final parade on Friday. Royalty members included: Aaliyah Olson, Ally Hart, Lily Fraki, Koli Torgerson, Piper Greenwaldt and Korie Koenen. 
Members of the Underwood marching band marched down the streets of Henning on Friday night.
Paisley Sapp, Sophia Stevens and Shalayna Christensen performed a dance during Friday’s Little Miss Henning pageant.
Brielle Thalmann, who would later be crowned as first princess, smiled as Mackenzie Andrews was crowned as second princess.

The softball tournament was held on the softball fields on Saturday. The tournament wrapped up on Saturday afternoon.
The annual Henning water wars highlighted a busy Saturday at the festival grounds.

The annual Henning car show once again featured classic vehicles of all shapes and sizes at Amundson Park on Sunday.

Who is Citizens Advocate?

The Citizen’s Advocate has been serving the Henning, Ottertail, Vining and Deer Creek area since 1891. The newspaper officially began on Thursday, March 12, 1891 with the first issue of the Alliance Advocate. The newspaper gave the Henning community a newspaper to call its own.
