A two-person touring team from CLIMB Theatre presents a twist on Aesop’s fable “The Ant and the Grasshopper” at the Landmark Center in Henning on Wednesday, July 19 at 7 p.m. This interactive, 35-minute live performance is free and open to the public, funded in part with monies from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage fund and sponsored by the Landmark Center and Viking Library System.

In this continuation of the fable, two friends compete together in the “Find Your Voice” competition. However, hardworking Ant and playful Grasshopper are having trouble finding their harmony. With the help of Queen Bee and the audience, Ant and Grasshopper learn to BEE Kind, BEE a Friend, and BEE Together as they work towards creating a sound where everyone’s voice is a part of the chorus. The play is best suited for children up to 10 years old. CLIMB Theatre is a youth-centered organization with a mission to inspire and propel people towards acts that benefit themselves, others, and their community.

The Landmark Center is located at 415 Douglas Ave.  For more information, contact the Landmark Center at 548-5760.
