Misegades picks up four hits in win

Kale Misegades picked up 4 hits and lead Otter Tail Central 15U Black to a 21-5 win over Pine River-Backus Red. 

Misegades singled in the first, doubled in the second, singled in the third, and singled in the fourth.

PRBA Red scored three runs in the fourth inning, but OTC still managed to pull out the victory. Colin Dostal and Mason Olson all drove in runs in the frame.

OTC got things moving in the first inning. Ayden Olson drew a walk, scoring 1 run.

Rowan Finseth was credited with the victory for OTC as he lasted 4 innings, allowing 3 hits and 4 runs while striking out 8. Beck Thorson threw 1 inning in relief out of the bullpen.

OTC totaled 18 hits in the game with Misegades, Ryan Despard, Thorson, Finseth and Colton Shjerve all had multiple hits for OTC. Misegades went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the way. 

“We hit the ball really well tonight and continued to put the pressure on PRBA.  It was a great team win,” said coach Evan Meece.
