UMD announces Spring Dean’s List

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) has announced its Dean’s List for Spring Semester 2023. Students on the Dean’s List have achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher while earning a minimum of 12 letter-graded credits.

Local students graduate from ATCC

More than 600 graduates were honored during the 2022-2023 academic year at Alexandria Technical & Community College. The spring commencement ceremony was held May 10, 2023 at the Runestone Community Center in Alexandria.

Esala named to Dean’s List

More than 9,800 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the spring semester Dean’s List. Students named to the Dean’s List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work. 

Among the students named to the Dean’s List was  Micah T. A. Esala, Ottertail, 4, Veterinary Medicine.

ATCC announces spring Dean’s List

Frederick named to Dean’s List

St. Cloud State University has announced the names of more than 982 students whose academic achievement placed them on the 2023 Spring semester Dean’s List. To be eligible for the honor, students must have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

Local students graduate from M-State

Esala graduates from Iowa State

Nearly 4,600 graduates received degrees from Iowa State University this spring. Graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies were held May 11-13 at Hilton Coliseum.

  Alumna Trudy Huskamp Peterson, the first woman archivist of the United States; and Temple Grandin, Distinguished Professor of animal sciences at Colorado State University, animal welfare pioneer and activist for people with autism, received honorary degrees during the undergraduate ceremonies. 

Among the local students to receive a degree was Micah Esala, Ottertail, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Magna Cum Laude.
