Henning Food Shelf receives donations for Food Share Month

Above: Sunday School students at Trinity Lutheran Church in Deer Creek donated 415.8 pounds of food to the Henning Food Shelf on Sunday. The food was collected as part of a congregation outreach project The church also donated $660 to the food shelf. Myron Wicklund of the Leaf Mountain Church presented Henning Lions Secretary Beth Rose a check for the Henning Food Shelf for $1,000 on March 26. The Henning Lions Club collected $2,628.37 as part of its annual Henning Food Shelf breakfast in March.
