Henning senior is one of 20 people named as honorable mention

Henning senior Faith Fisher has been named to the Class A honorable mention all-state basketball team. The Henning Hornets had three players nominated for all-state recognition this past season.

Henning High School senior Faith Fisher has been named to the Class A all-state honorable mention team. She is the daughter of BJ and Shari Fisher. 

In addition to Fisher, senior Ally Hart and junior Lyvia Misegades were nominated for the all-state team. A committee of coaches and past coaches from across the state met and chose the 10-member Class A all-state team and 20-member all-state honorable mention team. There were over 100 players nominated for the honor for the eight sections in the state. 

Fisher finished her Henning career with 1,218 points and scored 416 points this season. She finished this season with  14.9 points per game average, shot 78.6 percent from the free throw line, 42.8 percent from the field, finished with 93 steals and had 77 assists. She was also a captain for the 26-3 Hornet team.

Other Section 6A players named to the all-state team include: Kaitlyn Rohloff of Hancock, all-state first team; Brylie Schultz, Wheaton, all-state honorable mention; Elizabeth Lukken, Underwood, all-state honorable mention Misti Zempel, Hancock, all-state honorable mention.
